Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Heribert Bosch (ranked 765 p4p, 118 weight class) and Alexander Koreshkov (ranked 690 p4p, 108 weight class). Bosch comes to the cage accompanied by Oktoberfest. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Heribert Bosch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Koreshkov! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bosch throws a lazy uppercut
and Koreshkov counters with a single leg into guard. Bosch didn't expect that. Koreshkov stops Bosch from standing up. Koreshkov throws a big right hand that misses. Koreshkov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koreshkov wants to pass the guard but Bosch is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koreshkov is looking to work some ground and pound but Bosch has wrist control. Koreshkov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bosch is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Koreshkov, into his guard.
Koreshkov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bosch defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Koreshkov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bosch doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bosch manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koreshkov is looking for a triangle here but Bosch uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Koreshkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Koreshkov is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bosch tries to stand but Koreshkov is controlling his head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Koreshkov is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Koreshkov strikes from the bottom but Bosch takes advantage and advances to full mount! Koreshkov is desperately trying to improve his position but Bosch has a good base and remains in mount. Bosch wants to stand but Koreshkov is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Koreshkov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Bosch decides to stand and escape the position. Bosch connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bosch stuffs the takedown attempt from Koreshkov. Koreshkov gets slowly back to his feet. Koreshkov walks into a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bosch lands a body shot.
Koreshkov misses with a takedown attempt and Bosch makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Heribert Bosch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bosch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Koreshkov steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bosch. Bosch fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Koreshkov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Koreshkov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bosch counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Heribert Bosch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Koreshkov. Koreshkov has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bosch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Koreshkov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bosch can pounce on him.
This has been an exciting period of action! Bosch throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Koreshkov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Koreshkov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bosch. Koreshkov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bosch to score with a decent uppercut. Bosch throws a leg kick that is checked and Koreshkov counters with a straight right hand. Bosch throws a leg kick and Koreshkov counters with a nice double leg into guard. Koreshkov connects with a couple of short punches. Bosch is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Koreshkov is controlling him. Koreshkov is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bosch is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bosch has escaped and now he's on top!
Koreshkov is looking for a triangle but Bosch pushes his legs off easily.

Koreshkov actively working from the bottom here. Bosch tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Koreshkov throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Koreshkov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bosch wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Koreshkov looking for subs from the bottom but Bosch mounts him! Koreshkov is looking to improve his position but Bosch isn't that keen on the idea. Koreshkov is still trying to improve position. Bosch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Bosch is looking to stand but Koreshkov has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koreshkov is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bosch tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Bosch prevents Koreshkov from getting the reversal. Koreshkov bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Bosch wants to stand but Koreshkov is controlling the position. Koreshkov trying to control the position from guard on top but Bosch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Koreshkov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bosch looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bosch looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bosch! Bosch wants to stand but Koreshkov is controlling his arm. Heribert Bosch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koreshkov is looking for a sweep. Koreshkov looking for a sweep but Bosch has passed into full mount! Oh no! Koreshkov is in all sorts of trouble here.

Bosch stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Bosch presses Koreshkov against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Bosch escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bosch throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bosch scores with a nice head shot. Bosch throws a push kick but Koreshkov slaps the foot to one side. Koreshkov drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Koreshkov shoots in for a takedown but Bosch shows good takedown defense. Heribert Bosch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Koreshkov.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bosch throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Koreshkov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Bosch lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Bosch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koreshkov.
Koreshkov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A low kick from Bosch is predictable there and Koreshkov counters with a single leg into guard. Bosch didn't expect that. Bosch is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Koreshkov can do to turn this around? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bosch seems keen to control Koreshkov's posture. Koreshkov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bosch manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Koreshkov has Bosch in his guard. Bosch wanted to stand there but Koreshkov had control of the position.

Bosch would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Koreshkov looking for subs off his back but Bosch has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Koreshkov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Koreshkov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
