Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pyryx Dall (ranked 1035 p4p, 114 weight class) and Charlie Lim (ranked 589 p4p, 66 weight class). Dall comes to the cage accompanied by Fuel and Fire. Lim has chosen Kamelot - Abandoned as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pyryx Dall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charlie Lim! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dall.
Lim swings for the body but Dall moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dall. Lim does a little dance to reset his feet. Lim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A little jabbing left from Lim on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Lim steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dall. That one must have hurt. Lim tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dall half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Lim turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A head kick from Lim lands but Dall takes it in his stride.
It looks like Pyryx Dall has been cut. Lim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dall checks a low kick from Lim. Dall turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Lim has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dall. Dall looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lim appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Lim blocks a head kick by Dall.
Lim closes the distance and pushes Dall back into the cage. Lim is leaning against Dall and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dall misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lim misses with a hook from the clinch. Dall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lim walks away with a smile on his face. Dall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dall fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lim sprawls well initially but Dall persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dall is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lim defends it well. Lim is trying to stand up here but Dall is controlling him well. Lim manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Dall keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lim. A head punch on the inside from Lim fails to land. Dall prevents a body shot from Lim. Lim lands a shoulder strike. Lim misses with the head strike.
Dall blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Still in the clinch, Lim scores with a nice short uppercut. Dall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dall throws a jab but it's blocked by Lim. Dall misses with a hook. Dall misses with a hook. Lim ducked under it nicely. Lim does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dall slips a straight right by Lim. A nice inside leg kick there by Lim. That's going to slow Dall down. Charlie Lim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lim throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dall sees it coming and avoids it easily. Dall appears to be looking for a big counter. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lim moves in looking to clinch but Dall pushes him off. Dall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lim misses with a low kick. Dall throws an overhand right that lands on Lim's shoulder, as Lim tries to avoid the shot. Dall throws a hook to the side of Lim's head but Lim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lim throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dall lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Lim pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dall lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A swing and a miss from Lim. Lim darts in and clinches Dall up against the cage. Dall lands a shoulder strike. Lim struggles to land a body shot inside as Dall controls his hands.
Dall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dall thows a left - swing and a miss! Dall throws an overhand right that lands on Lim's shoulder, as Lim tries to avoid the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lim tries to land a leg kick but Dall saw it coming and moves away.
Lim looks to land a right hand but Dall moved out of range. Dall tries to counter with a takedown but Lim is quick to defend against it. Dall misses with a looping left. Lim tries to clinch but Dall moves out of range. Lim bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dall.
Lim tries to score with a low kick but Dall moves his leg out of the way. Good exchange - Lim coming out on top. Dall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lim looks like he wants to counter punch here. Dall blocks a head kick by Lim.
Dall takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Lim pivots, looking for a leg kick but Dall is out of range and Lim settles back down. Dall scores with a decent looking hook. Lim is looking to clinch but Dall is avoiding it.
Lim throws a head kick that Dall semi-blocks.
Dall keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lim. Dall appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dall tries to land a leg kick but Lim saw it coming and moves away.
Dall lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lim swings away with a leg kick that misses. Lim tries to clinch there but Dall circles away.
Dall is looking to slow Lim down with leg kicks. Lim throws a right and a left that both miss. Lim defending well as Dall loads up on a big left hand. Lim scores with a nice right hand.

Dall cracks Lim with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Lim shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Dall lands with a nice combination. Lim backs away looking to recover. Dall scores with a leg kick.
Lim misses with a hook. Dall appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Lim thows a leg kick but Dall checks it and Dall counters with a takedown into side control. Lim is looking to get back to his feet here but Dall is keeping cool and he's managed to take Lim's back. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dall has the hooks in. Lim is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Pyryx Dall will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Pyryx Dall's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Dall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lim won't be happy with that. Dall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lim is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Dall tries to move to full mount but Lim actually manages to regain half guard. Dall is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Lim tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lim regains half guard. Dall is looking for a kimura but Lim is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dall to get the leverage. Dall wants to pass to mount but Lim is defending the position. Lim tries to kick Dall off but Dall keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lim tries to roll over but Dall keeps him under control. Dall is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Dall wants to take his opponent's back but Lim doesn't allow it. Dall with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Lim is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Lim keeps trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dall is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lim to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lim shrugs it off. Lim is wriggling around trying to escape.
Lim's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Lim regains half guard. Lim is trying to stand back up but Dall is controlling him
Dall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lim is just riding it out for now. Dall eventually gives up the hold. Dall looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall is working for a kimura but Lim is defending it quite comfortably.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Lim has one foot on Dall's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Dall looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lim has closed the distance and engaged Dall in a clinch.

Dall blocks an uppercut.

Dall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Good work by Dall as he checks the leg kick. Lim misses with a low kick. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Lim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Dall throws a nice looking combination but Lim bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pyryx Dall dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Pyryx Dall's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Lim misses with a leg kick and Dall counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lim won't be happy with that. Pyryx Dall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lim is looking for a sweep. Dall is looking to take a break and control but Lim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lim is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dall advances to full mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall wants to take his opponent's back but Lim doesn't allow it. Lim can't escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dall fails to take his opponent's back. Lim tries to get back to half guard but can't. Lim sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lim is trying to stand up here but Dall is controlling him well. Lim trying to control from the bottom.
Dall is keen to just control but Lim is a slippery customer. Dall is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lim has managed to free his arm - good work. Lim trying to hold on to Dall's head to control him but Dall postures up.
Charlie Lim has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dall is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Lim as he works his way to full guard.
Lim is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dall is aware though and is defending well. Dall wants to pass the guard but Lim is keeping the position. Dall sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lim's guard. Lim has one foot on Dall's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Lim dips to his left and cracks Dall with an uppercut! Dall scores with a head kick. Lim tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Lim swinging wildly here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dall darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Lim manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Dall keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Dall manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Lim preventing the sweep. Pyryx Dall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lim pushes down on Dall's leg and manages to get into half guard. Dall is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lim's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lim's back! Dall seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! I really don't envy Lim right now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lim is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it. Lim moves away from the strike by Dall. A shot to the liver by Dall. Beautiful body shot. Lim throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Some bone on bone action there as Dall checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Lim takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lim.
Lim misses with a low kick. Lim feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Dalls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lim moves into the clinch. Lim fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Lim takes a shot to the head. Lim lands with a light punch inside. Lim tries a body shot but Dall blocks it.
Lim swings wildly with an uppercut but Dall uses good head movement to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Charlie Lim. I think Dall has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by split decision... Charlie Lim! After the fight, Charlie Lim was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. The defeated Pyryx Dall had this to say: 'The fire was doused today. Time to restoke and bring the heat next time!'.
