Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zidane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Zidane is looking to work some ground and pound but Black has wrist control.
Zidane controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Black bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Zidane's guard.
Black postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Black loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Black throws a big right hand that misses.

Zidane stands up over Black, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Black lands a nice shot that snaps Zidane's head back.
A head kick misses from Black.
Black tries to clinch up but Zidane circles away and keeps his distance.
Zidane drops down looking for a counter takedown but Black sprawls and moves away.
Black is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Zidane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Black pinned against the cage. Black gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Black throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zidane counters with a single leg into guard. Black didn't expect that.
Black has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Zidane has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Black breaks the clinch.
Zidane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Zidane closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Black quickly recovers to half guard.
Zidane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground.
Zidane winds up and cracks Black with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zidane seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Zidane is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Black is trying to stand up here but Zidane is controlling him well.
Zidane looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Zidane lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Black! More strikes land and this one is all over! Zidane jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
