The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
mansour shoots in but no luck this time.
Smith gets a clinch.
Smith gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from mansour.

Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? mansour is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, mansour circles away and we're back to standing.

Smith jumps guard but mansour stands there with Smith around his waist. Smith gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
mansour jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Smith walks away with a smile on his face. mansour gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
mansour tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smith holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
mansour goes for a takedown in the clinch but Smith prevents it.
mansour is working for takedown but Smith is calmly controlling the position for now.
mansour scores with a knee to the head.
Smith has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics mansour uses from the top position.

Smith drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Smith tries to stand but mansour is controlling his head.

Smith has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

and Smith counters with a nice double leg into side control. mansour won't be happy with that.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Smith counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Smith.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
mansour tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

mansour gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

mansour bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Smith's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith pushes mansour off and gets back to his feet.

and Smith counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Smith.

That was a close second round but I would say that Peter Smith will probably get the nod.

Smith is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake mansour off. It looks like it's working - mansour slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Smith displaying calm under pressure there.
Smith pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
mansour lands a nice looking body kick.
mansour shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. mansour showed some decent athleticism there.
Smith is holding on to half guard well.
Smith tries to roll over but mansour keeps him under control.

Smith wants to get back to his feet.

mansour looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
mansour is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
mansour is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
mansour seems to be working for a kimura but Smith defends the submission attempt.

Smith throws a sloppy head kick and mansour moves out of range easily.
mansour wants to clinch but Smith slips to the side
and Smith counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
mansour is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.
