Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sean Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edson Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lima's choice of entrance music: Bellini - Samba de Janeiro. Edson Lima has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rice clinches up with Lima and pushes him back against the cage.
Lima misses with the head strike.
Lima looking to stall.
Rice is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Lima has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Rice avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Lima is trying to push Rice away but Rice has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lima tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rice just stands there and leans against the cage.
Sean Rice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edson Lima.

Lima thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Lima stands and throws Rice's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rice is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Lima is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Rice tries to control the position but Lima now has his back.
Rice trying to control the action but Lima just sinks the hooks in.

What can Rice do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Rice is trying to control his opponent's hands. Eventually Lima gets his hands free and sinks in a rear naked choke. For a while it looks like Rice is going to survive but after struggling valiantly, he eventually has to tap out! Lima is your winner!
