Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Lothario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lothario was well out of range. Poor timing from Montgomery .
Montgomery stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Montgomery wants it to stay on the feet.
Montgomery tries to counter by clinching up but Lothario breaks away and moves out of range.
Lothario looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Montgomery clobbers Lothario with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Montgomery lands a really nice looking cross but Lothario seems unphased.
Montgomery lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Jose Lothario has been cut.
Montgomery throws a lazy uppercut
and Lothario counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Montgomery is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lothario is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
