Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Manuel Lora!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Zapata.
Lora moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Zapata fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lora on the side of the head.
Lora closes this distance looking for a takedown but Zapata circles away.
Zapata loads up on a big right hand but Lora slips the punch.
Zapata with a nice cross.
Zapata clobbers Lora with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Zapata sizes up Lora with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Lora ducks under a wild hook from Zapata.
Zapata misses with a looping left.
Lora shoots in for a takedown but Zapata shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zapata cracks Lora with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Zapata circles away from the clinch attempt.
Zapata lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Lora is rocked!
Zapata cracks Lora with a left hook right on the temple and Lora goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Zapata lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Lora is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eusebio Zapata!
A relieved looking Eusebio Zapata thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
