Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 26 - 0, fighting out of London, Djin Kvasir!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naranbaatar cracks Kvasir with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Naranbaatar catches Kvasir with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Naranbaatar fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kvasir on the side of the head.
Naranbaatar cracks a nice hook into Kvasir's ribs.
Kvasir tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Naranbaatar swivels and escapes.
Naranbaatar lands a jab to the head.
Kvasir closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Naranbaatar lands a nice shot to the body.
Naranbaatar is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kvasir shoots in but Naranbaatar avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kvasir on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Naranbaatar throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kvasir walks forward, straight into a front kick from Naranbaatar.
Kvasir goes for a double leg but Naranbaatar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Naranbaatar continues to drive forward.
Tarkhan Naranbaatar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Djin Kvasir.
Nice body kick there by Naranbaatar.
Kvasir looks winded!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Naranbaatar - that will leave a mark!

Kvasir darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Naranbaatar manages to get to full guard.
Naranbaatar has Kvasir pulled in close to control his posture.

Kvasir drops back, looking for a kneebar! Naranbaatar looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Naranbaatar looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Naranbaatar!


That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kvasir looks to move to half guard but instead Naranbaatar has passed into mount! Damn!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Naranbaatar working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kvasir looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Naranbaatar! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Tarkhan Naranbaatar!
A relieved looking Tarkhan Naranbaatar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Djin Kvasir spoke after the fight, saying 'next time is the time'.
