Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young stuffs the takedown attempt from Walters. Walters gets slowly back to his feet.
Young wants to clinch.
Young pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Young looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A slow jab from Young misses its intended target.
Walters shoots for a double leg takedown but Young sprawls well. He's pushed Walters's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Walters misses with a kick to the body.
Young tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walters closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Walters lands in his opponent's guard.
Young controls Walters momentarily but Walters frees himself.

Walters slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Young had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Walters is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Young Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Walters's back instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Young throws a series of strikes and Walters wriggles onto his back, so he's now mounted. He's in real trouble here.

Young clinches up with Walters and pushes him back against the cage.

Young has had enough of the clinch but Walters keeps him there for the moment.

Young dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Walters. That did some damage!

Young really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Walters. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Walters shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Young but Young pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Young tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Walters easily slips into full mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Young is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Young is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
BOOM! Walters connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Young is wriggling around trying to escape.
Walters tries to control but Young wriggling away.
Walters avoids the attempt from Young to control.

Walters is going olschool here, as he tries to force Young to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Young shrugs it off.
Young is squirming around, avoiding Walters's attempts to control the action.
Young tries to lock up and control but Walters gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Young tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Young tries to hold on but Walters postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Young keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Walters jumps guard but Young stands there with Walters around his waist. Walters gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

and Walters counters with a takedown into side control.

Walters tries to advance position but instead Young slips a leg back in to half guard.
Young keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Young misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Walters is looking to take a break and control but Young is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Young is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Young wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Young darts in and clinches Walters up against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Walters tries to pull guard but Young won't allow it.
Young crunches a lovely knee into Walters's ribcage.
Young pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Young moves in looking to clinch but Walters pushes him off.
Young is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gerald Young comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Walters has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
