Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luca Conti (ranked 3586 p4p, 500 weight class) and Mikey Walsh (ranked 5134 p4p, 641 weight class). Mikey Walsh has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Luca Conti's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luca Conti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mikey Walsh!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Luca Conti has been cut.
Luca Conti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walsh misses with an attempted mid kick.
Conti looks to land a combination but Walsh avoids it well.
Walsh with the counter takedown but Conti avoids it easily.
Walsh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Conti pinned against the cage. Conti gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
An attempted straight right counter from Conti misses the target.
Walsh ducks under a wild hook from Conti.
Walsh scores with a sloppy right hand. Conti should have avoided that one.
Walsh throws a series of punches but Conti moves out of range.
Walsh shoots in for a double leg but Conti sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Conti was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Conti rushes Walsh and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Walsh misses with a punch to the body.
Walsh tries to circle away but Conti has him pinned against the cage.
Walsh is trying to drag Conti to the mat but Conti just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Luca Conti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mikey Walsh.
Walsh takes a knee to the side of the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Conti lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Walsh is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Conti gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Walsh gets control of Conti's arms and successfully pulls guard. Walsh will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Conti won't allow Walsh to sweep him here.
Conti wants to control from the top but Walsh keeps moving.
Conti is really struggling to control Walsh but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Conti trying to control the position from guard on top but Walsh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Walsh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Conti defends well.
Walsh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Conti gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Conti keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Walsh's head.
Walsh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Conti is one step ahead there.
Conti advances position into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Walsh is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Conti's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Walsh is trying to get back to full guard.
Walsh is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Conti pulls his head out easily.
Walsh looking for submissions off his back.
Walsh gets back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Walsh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Conti doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Conti manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Conti throws a big right hand that misses.
Conti trying to control but Walsh is working from the bottom.
Walsh is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Walsh wants to control but Conti is keeping him busy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Conti tries to get to full guard but Walsh has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Walsh connects with a nice short shot to Conti's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mikey Walsh dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Luca Conti's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Conti misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice body punch from Conti.
Conti throws a leg kick that is checked
and Walsh counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Conti is staying active underneath Walsh, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Walsh thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Conti's head.
Walsh wants to pass the guard but Conti is defending well.
Conti wants to get back to full guard.
Conti wants to control but Walsh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Walsh thows a huge punch but Conti dodges it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conti has hold of Walsh's hands but Walsh slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Conti trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Walsh manages to pass to mount!
Conti wants to control but Walsh is having none of it.
Walsh tries to control but Conti wriggling away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Walsh avoids the attempt from Conti to control.
Walsh pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Conti is rocked!
Walsh loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Conti scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Walsh land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Walsh stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikey Walsh!
A relieved looking Mikey Walsh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
