Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carneiro swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gones tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Carneiro swivels and escapes.
Gones wants to clinch up but Carneiro keeps it at a distance.
Gones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Carneiro.
Gones dodges the punch combination from Carneiro.
Carneiro throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Carneiro scores with a one two! Gones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Gones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Carneiro!

and Gones counters with a single leg into guard. Carneiro didn't expect that.
Gones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Gones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Carneiro keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Carneiro on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carneiro tries to get out of the position.

Geyhard Gones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gones will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Carneiro up against the cage.

Carneiro is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Carneiro wants to get back to striking at distance but Gones won't allow it.
Carneiro tries to break the clinch but Gones is controlling the position.
Gones using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Carneiro has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Carneiro wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Carneiro blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
