Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benito Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flap Jacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Benito Wolf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Flap Jacks!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolf closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jacks's guard.
Jacks wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Wolf manages to pass to side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jacks keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Wolf has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jacks tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Wolf has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Wolf breaks from Jacks's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Jacks is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wolf blocks Jacks's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Jacks trying desperately to get to his feet.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wolf cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Jacks is in a horrible position here. Wolf smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jacks is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Wolf lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Wolf is landing with some decent strikes but Jacks is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Wolf breaks from Jacks's wrist control and lands an elbow.


Jacks is rocked!
Jacks wants to try and get back to his feet.
Wolf cracks Jacks with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jacks is still in real trouble! Can Wolf finish him?

Wolf is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jacks has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jacks seems to have recovered his senses.

Wolf jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jacks manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Wolf creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Wolf tries for a kimura but Jacks is defending well.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Wolf blocks a head kick by Jacks.
Wolf tries to counter by clinching up but Jacks breaks away and moves out of range.
Jacks throws a sloppy head kick

and Wolf counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Wolf prevents Jacks from breaking the clinch.
Wolf is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jacks to keep the fight standing.
Jacks is pressed up against the cage. Wolf has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jacks down to the mat. Jacks avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Benito Wolf is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wolf tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wolf rushes Jacks and presses him up against the cage.
Wolf tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Benito Wolf. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolf makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Jacks is looking to break free of the clinch but Wolf has double underhooks.

Wolf throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Wolf jumps guard but Jacks turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Jacks is trying to force a seperation but Wolf has the dominant position.

Wolf drags the fight down to the ground.
Jacks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jacks postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jacks loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jacks wants to control from the top but Wolf keeps moving.

Wolf is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wolf stops Jacks from getting back to his feet.
Wolf passes into side control, despite Jacks's attempt to control the position.
Wolf works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Jacks is trying to improve his position.
Jacks is looking to get back to his feet here but Wolf is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jacks's back.
Jacks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wolf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Wolf is persistently looking for the submission but Jacks is defending it well.

Oooh a big shot gets through from Wolf. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

I really don't envy Jacks right now.

Wolf has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Wolf.
Wolf is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jacks can do to turn this around?

Jacks is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Jacks tries to roll but Wolf sticks to his back.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

And Wolf counters with a quick kick to the body but Jacks blocks it.
Crunch! Jacks slams his shin into Wolf's torso.
Wolf swats away the attempt to clinch by Jacks.
Wolf is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jacks.
Flap Jacks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jacks lands a head kick. Wolf smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jacks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wolf swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wolf decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Flap Jacks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jacks throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wolf.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A frustrated look appears on Jacks's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Jacks obliges.
Wolf keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jacks's efforts to push away.
Wolf keeps control of Jacks as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Wolf breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jacks delivers a nice body kick.
Jacks throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wolf.

Wolf tries to keep at a distance but Jacks has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wolf jumps guard but Jacks turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wolf avoiding damage.
Wolf lands an uppercut.
Jacks wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Jacks pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wolf.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Wolf cracks Jacks with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Jacks wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Jacks taking punishment in the form of punches.

Wolf thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jacks tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
What can Jacks do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
I really don't envy Jacks right now.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Flap Jacks.
I think Wolf has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
