The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams moves into range and clinches up with Gomi.
Williams is looking to control Gomi's arms but Gomi gets an underhook and turns him. Now Williams has his back to the cage.
Gomi pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gomi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.
Gomi throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Gomi wants to sweep here but Williams controlling him for the moment.
Gomi looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Williams is defending well. Gomi quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Williams has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gomi celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
