Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Viduka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brooklin Rider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Viduka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Pitbull - Hotelroom Service. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harry Viduka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brooklin Rider! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice straight punches there by Rider. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rider. Viduka throws a series of punches but Rider moves out of range. Rider moves out of range of the strikes. No luck for Rider with that takedown attempt. Rider throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Viduka's waist but Viduka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rider off to one side. Viduka connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Viduka misses with the combination.
Viduka fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rider changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Viduka tries to avoid it but Rider manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Viduka to the ground. Viduka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Harry Viduka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brooklin Rider. Rider connects with the punch. Rider scores with a takedown into Viduka's guard. Viduka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Viduka is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rider sees it coming and defends easily. Rider looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Viduka trying to mount his opponent but Rider defends it. Rider is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Viduka's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Viduka's back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Viduka manages to escape to his feet. Some wild striking there from Viduka.
Rider shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Viduka as he avoids it easily. Rider shoots in and bounces Viduka off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rider looks gassed! Viduka wants to stand but Rider is controlling the position. Viduka has his foot on Rider's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rider works his way back into a safe position though. Viduka looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Viduka keeping moving, preventing Rider from controlling successfully. Rider drops back, looking for a kneebar! Viduka looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Viduka looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Viduka! Rider manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rider is looking for a sweep. Viduka is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rider is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Viduka looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Viduka is looking for a kimura but Rider is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Viduka to get the leverage. Viduka seems to be looking for submissions.
Rider is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Viduka pulls his head out easily. Rider is looking for a sweep. Viduka is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Viduka trying to mount his opponent but Rider defends it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rider closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rider decides to stand back up. Rider fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Viduka stuffs the takedown attempt from Rider. Rider gets slowly back to his feet. Horrible takedown by Rider or perhaps it was just good defense by Viduka which made him look bad. Viduka rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rider moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rider closes the distance and clinches up with Viduka, looking for a takedown. Rider pushes Viduka against the cage but Viduka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rider looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Viduka displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Rider fails with a takedown attempt. Viduka shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rider's guard. Viduka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rider working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Viduka doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rider is tightening it up a little... Viduka has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Viduka reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Viduka taps out! nice BJJ there by Rider!
