Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mahut Uno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Achilles OfThessaly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Achilles OfThessaly has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mahut Uno's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mahut Uno! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Achilles OfThessaly! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for OfThessaly with that takedown attempt. Uno scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. OfThessaly is looking to escape. Uno is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
OfThessaly wants to control but Uno is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. OfThessaly manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Uno controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. OfThessaly keeping full guard, as Uno tries to pass. OfThessaly working a defensive guard but Uno manages to pass into side control anyway.
OfThessaly wants to control but Uno postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uno controlling from side mount. Uno's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Uno is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. OfThessaly knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Uno wants to control but OfThessaly is keeping him busy. OfThessaly tries to improve position but can't. OfThessaly wants to control but Uno postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. OfThessaly bucks up and tries to throw Uno off but instead Uno has got his back! Uno throws strikes from the back but OfThessaly rolls nicely and manages to end up in full guard. Nice work by OfThessaly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. OfThessaly keeping full guard, as Uno tries to pass. Uno has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. OfThessaly wants to sweep but no luck.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. OfThessaly throws a hook but Uno avoids it easily. OfThessaly has his takedown stuffed and Uno counters with a nice double leg into guard. Uno gets to his feet - OfThessaly follows without any prompting. OfThessaly shoots and misses and Uno counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Mahut Uno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Achilles OfThessaly. OfThessaly takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Achilles OfThessaly has been cut. Uno successfully pulls guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uno has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. OfThessaly stops Uno from standing up. OfThessaly looking to sit in guard and control but Uno gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. OfThessaly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Uno looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Uno seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down OfThessaly for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mahut Uno dominated that round. The cut man is working on Achilles OfThessaly's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
OfThessaly wants to clinch and Uno counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for OfThessaly! Uno looking to finish OfThessaly with some ground and pound. This is bad for OfThessaly! OfThessaly manages to regain half guard. Good work. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Uno stalling away here and it's allowed OfThessaly to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Uno preventing the sweep. OfThessaly looking to control.
Uno is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Uno trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. OfThessaly looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Uno is defending well. OfThessaly quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Uno has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! OfThessaly celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
