Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kakashi Sung Jung (ranked 8615 p4p, 826 weight class) and Sergei Krylov (ranked 3074 p4p, 433 weight class). Kakashi Sung Jung could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sergei Krylov's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kakashi Sung Jung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergei Krylov!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krylov shoots for a double leg takedown but Sung Jung sprawls well. He's pushed Krylov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Krylov moves into range and connects with a jab.
Krylov shoots in but no luck this time.
Krylov bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sung Jung's head backwards.
Sung Jung on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Krylov takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Krylov shoots for a takedown but Sung Jung saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kakashi Sung Jung has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Krylov.
Sung Jung jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Krylov throws out a counter right but Sung Jung avoids it with no problem.
Sung Jung defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Krylov.
Sung Jung ducks under a wild hook from Krylov.
Sung Jung tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Krylov manages to circle out of the way.
Krylov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sung Jung lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krylov circles away quickly and effectively.
Krylov shoots in for a takedown but Sung Jung shows good takedown defense.
Krylov misses with a takedown attempt - Sung Jung sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Krylov moves out of range as Sung Jung strikes.

Krylov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sung Jung but Sung Jung pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sung Jung cracks a nice hook into Krylov's ribs.
Krylov lands with a shot to the body.
Krylov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sung Jung as he jumps to the side.
Sergei Krylov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sung Jung throws a front kick aimed at Krylov's knee but Krylov avoids it well.
Krylov has a takedown stuffed.
Sung Jung lands a glancing blow to the side of Krylov's head.
Sung Jung looks to land a left hand but Krylov moved out of range nicely.
Sung Jung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Krylov.

The fighters circling - Krylov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Krylov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Krylov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Krylov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sung Jung works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sung Jung not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Krylov stops Sung Jung from standing up.
Sung Jung on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sung Jung tries to get out of the position.
Krylov is stalling in the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sung Jung trying to keep a closed guard but Krylov is proving a slippery customer.
Sung Jung wants to get back to his feet but Krylov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Krylov passes Sung Jung's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sung Jung is looking to escape.
Krylov is thwarting Sung Jung's attempts to control the position.

Krylov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Sung Jung wants to hold on but Krylov pushes him away.
Krylov cracks Sung Jung with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Krylov controlling the pace for now.
Krylov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Let's hope that Krylov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Sung Jung is trying desperately to improve position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krylov connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Nice defenses there by Sung Jung.

Krylov darts in looking for a takedown but Sung Jung gets double underhooks and turns Krylov into the cage.

Sung Jung has Krylov up against the cage in a clinch.
Krylov wants to get back to striking at distance but Sung Jung won't allow it.
Sung Jung is leaning against Krylov and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Krylov is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krylov goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sung Jung prevents it.

Krylov is trying to drag Sung Jung to the mat but Sung Jung just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kakashi Sung Jung is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sung Jung with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Krylov to score with a decent uppercut.
Krylov sizes up Sung Jung with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Sung Jung takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Krylov misses with a looping right.
Nice uppercut lands for Krylov. That snapped Sung Jung's head back.
Krylov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sung Jung manages to avoid it.
Sung Jung seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krylov gets tackled into the cage by Sung Jung. Sung Jung maintains the clinch.
Sung Jung lands a shoulder strike.
A head punch on the inside from Sung Jung fails to land.
Sung Jung can't find room to land a body shot as Krylov controls the action.

Krylov manages to break the clinch.
Sung Jung tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krylov was well out of range. Poor timing from Sung Jung.
Sung Jung slips under a jab from Krylov.
We've been informed that Krylov has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Krylov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Krylov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sung Jung.
Sung Jung scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Sung Jung rushes Krylov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sung Jung swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Sung Jung fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sung Jung misses with a hook to the ribs.
Krylov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sung Jung pulls his leg out and moves away.

Krylov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Krylov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Krylov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
As Krylov tries to get set, Sung Jung tries to push him back and clinch up but Krylov manages to avoid the attempt.
Good work by Krylov as he checks the leg kick.

Sung Jung moves out of range of the body kick.
Sung Jung scores with a nice right hand.
Krylov avoids the body shot from Sung Jung.
Sung Jung takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sung Jung moves out of range as Krylov strikes.
Sung Jung throws a nice looking combination but Krylov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sung Jung thows a left - swing and a miss!
Krylov misses the jab.

Sung Jung moves into range and clinches up with Krylov.
Krylov is trying to break the clinch but Sung Jung has him pressed against the cage.
Sung Jung tries a body shot but Krylov blocks it.
Krylov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Krylov wants a takedown.
Sung Jung creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Krylov with a big uppercut! Krylov tries to clinch up but Sung Jung pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Krylov to the mat! Krylov covers up and Sung Jung unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Kakashi Sung Jung!
