Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
36 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Miguel Camacho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Potter! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camacho pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Camacho looks to land a right hand but Potter moved out of range. Camacho is looking to chop away at Potter's legs. Camacho thows a leg kick but Potter checks it and Potter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Potter controlling from the top position. Camacho pulls Potter in close to prevent any damage. Potter stops Camacho from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Potter throws a big elbow that misses. Potter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Potter trying to control but Camacho is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Camacho is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Potter is controlling him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Camacho swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Potter checks a leg kick nicely. Potter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Potter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Camacho's waist but Camacho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Potter off to one side. A little feinted left hand from Camacho on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Nice takedown defense from Camacho. No joy for Potter on that attempt. Potter feints and then cracks Camacho's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Camacho down. Potter keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Potter feints a counter leg kick. Potter ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Camacho catches Potter with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Camacho throws a jab when Potter was well out of range. Camacho throws a low kick but it's checked well by Potter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Camacho on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Potter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Camacho.
Potter steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Potter dives in and scores a takedown into Camacho's guard. Camacho wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Potter manages to pass to side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Potter stalling. Potter looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Potter trying to control from half guard but Camacho is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Camacho wants to get back to full guard. Potter wants to take a breather but Camacho is having none of it. Potter is looking to advance position but Camacho won't allow it. Well, if Potter is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Potter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Camacho wants to stand and escape but Potter is having none of it. Camacho keeping full guard, as Potter tries to pass. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Potter misses with a body kick. Potter looks for a takedown but Camacho sprawls well. Miguel Camacho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Potter. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Potter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Camacho. Camacho tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Potter was well out of range. Poor timing from Camacho. And Potter tries to counter it with a takedown but Camacho pushes his down on his head and steps out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alexander Potter will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Potter looks to score with a jab to the body but Camacho is just out of range. Potter throws a right and a left that Camacho avoids nicely. Alexander Potter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Potter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Miguel Camacho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Potter fails in his attempt to clinch. Potter lands with a good body shot. Camacho looks to land a left hand but Potter moved out of range nicely. Miguel Camacho is winning the standup battle so far. Potter throws a body shot but no joy. Camacho throws a good cross that connects.
Potter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Camacho doesn't seem bothered though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Camacho misses with a low kick as Potter jumps back. Potter fails with the takedown. Potter fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Camacho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Miguel Camacho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Potter.
That's one minute gone in the round. Potter jabs at Camacho's body. Potter is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Camacho rather than just go for the knockout. Camacho lands a leg kick that knocks Potter off balance momentarily. Potter's coach down at LOD Gym of the Gods was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Potter's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Potter shoots for a double leg takedown but Camacho sprawls well. He's pushed Potter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Miguel Camacho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Potter works Camacho's body with a nice hook. Nice takedown defense from Camacho. No joy for Potter on that attempt. Camacho lands with a hook. Potter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Potter is looking to chop away at Camacho's legs. Sloppy strikes from Camacho. Those never looked like landing. A big right from Camacho misses. Potter swings for the body but Camacho moves out of range.
Camacho appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Potter drives through and clinches with Camacho against the cage.

He's pushed Potter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Camacho throws a leg kick that is checked and Potter counters with a single leg into guard. Camacho didn't expect that. Camacho wants to stand but Potter is controlling the position. Camacho manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Potter blocks an uppercut.
Camacho lands an uppercut. A short uppercut from Camacho. Camacho misses with a hook from the clinch. Camacho has a couple of punches blocked by Potter.
Potter blocks a body shot from Camacho. Camacho fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Potter misses with a wild body shot. Camacho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Potter shoots for a double leg takedown but Camacho sprawls well. He's pushed Potter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Camacho swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Camacho sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Miguel Camacho dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

and Potter counters with a nice low kick that buckles Camacho's knee momentarily. Potter misses the shot to the body. Potter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Camacho defends well and Potter ends up having to push Camacho into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Camacho takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Camacho scores with a head kick. Potter tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Camacho swings for the body but Potter moves out of range.
The fighters circling - Camacho throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Camacho drops Potter with a beautiful combination! Potter stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Camacho is looking for the KO!
Potter is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Camacho cracks Potter with a hook to the temple - Potter is on wobbly legs here! Camacho swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Potter falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Camacho wins by TKO!
