The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurmy swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mma cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mma throws a right and a left that Nurmy avoids nicely.
Nice shot by Mma.
Mma moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Mma smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nurmy drops his hands momentarily and Mma takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nurmy throws a body kick that misses
and Mma cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mma lands a nice shot to the body.
Mma slips under a jab.

Nurmy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mma finds it's way round the side to connect with Nurmy's head.
Mma dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mma is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Nurmy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nurmy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mma.
Nurmy takes a swing at Mma's ribcage but misses.
Khalabib Nurmy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nurmy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mma counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mma is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nurmy had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Mma throws out a powerful jab.
Nurmy has his takedown stuffed
and Mma counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Mma cracks Nurmy with a good jab.
Nice takedown defense from Mma. No joy for Nurmy on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khalabib Nurmy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nurmy is breathing heavily.
Mma fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nurmy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nurmy tries to move into range but Mma moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Mma Throws a clean left jab. Mma Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Nurmy's chin! Nurmy crumbles to the ground and Mma follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Mma!
