Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chiku Maneno (ranked 400 p4p, 64 weight class) and Dante Flux (ranked 732 p4p, 115 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Flux.
Flux throws a right and a left that Maneno avoids nicely.
Flux doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Maneno just misses with a punch to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Flux! But no joy.
Maneno misses the shot to the body.
Flux looks to throw the jab but Maneno is out of range.
Flux falls off balance throwing a combination
and Maneno counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Flux is looking to clinch but Maneno is avoiding it.
Flux uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Maneno.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Chiku Maneno will probably get the nod.

You get the feeling that Maneno really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Flux goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Maneno turns into him and now he's in Flux's guard.
Maneno has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Flux is proving hard to escape from.
Flux is looking for a triangle here but Maneno uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Flux is looking for a sweep. Maneno is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Flux keeps trying to improve his position.

Maneno stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Flux swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chiku Maneno.
I think Maneno has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
