Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 12 - 2, fighting out of New York, Itula Maafala!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shelton connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Itula Maafala has been cut.
Shelton throws a series of punches but Maafala avoids them all with ease.
Maafala tries to counter with a clinch but Shelton shakes him off and moves away.
Maafala tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Shelton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shelton throws a push kick but Maafala slaps the foot to one side.

Maafala forces Shelton back against the cage and clinches.
Maafala turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Maafala manages to end up in side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Shelton takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Maafala creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Marc Shelton's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marc Shelton's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
