Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steve McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock tries to clinch there but McQueen circles away.
McQueen moves out of range as Rock throws a body kick.
Rock pushes McQueen up against the cage in a clinch.
Rock breaks from the clinch.
Rock on the wrong end of a nice jab.
McQueen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Steve McQueen has been cut.
McQueen scores with a one two! Rock had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rock tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Rock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McQueen moves away.

McQueen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
McQueen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
McQueen looks to land a body kick but Rock moved away.
McQueen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
McQueen throws a combination. Rock tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

McQueen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

McQueen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McQueen throws a left that rocks Rock and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! McQueen dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Rock regain composure!
Rock is rocked!
It looks like Tommy Rock has been cut.
McQueen is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rock will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Rock is still in real trouble! Can McQueen finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McQueen blocks the strikes from Rock.
Rock seems to have recovered his senses.
McQueen controlling from side mount.
Rock is looking to regain half guard here but McQueen keeps moving and retains side control.

McQueen happy to just control the position for now.
Rock wants to control but McQueen postures up.

Rock takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

McQueen throws a nice looking combination but Rock bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rock takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Rock takes one to the side of the head.
Rock showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McQueen.
McQueen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McQueen jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McQueen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
McQueen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
McQueen cracks a nice hook into Rock's ribs.
A jab from McQueen does it's job there.
McQueen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

McQueen moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
McQueen closes the distance and lands a one-two.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

McQueen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rock can do to turn this around?

This has been an exciting period of action!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from McQueen! Rock is out on his feet! McQueen rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rock is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rock is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
