Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dennis Frye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The King Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The King Killer will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dennis Frye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, The King Killer! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer throws a body kick that misses letting Frye counter with a right hand. Killer closes the distance looking to clinch and Frye counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Killer wants to clinch up but Frye keeps it at a distance. Killer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Frye is trying to defend but Killer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Killer is figuring out what he wants to do next. Frye really is a fat lump. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killer working the head and body with strikes. Killer trying to control from Frye's half guard. Frye has other ideas though and has regained full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Frye tries to strike from the bottom.
Killer trying to control but Frye is working from the bottom. Killer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frye. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Frye is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Killer desperately trying to maintain half guard. Killer is defending against the submission attempts here by Frye.
Frye decides to stand up. Killer tries to clinch and Frye makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killer manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Frye on his heels. He'll look to pass Frye's guard now, I'm sure. Frye looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Frye throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Killer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Killer tries to stand but Frye is controlling from the bottom. Killer trying to control the position from guard on top but Frye is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Frye has his foot on Killer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Killer works his way back into a safe position though. Killer trying to control but Frye is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Frye holds on and takes a little breather. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Killer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Killer wants to pass the guard but Frye is keeping the position. Frye might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Frye trying to control the position here. Frye manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Killer manages to get himself to full guard.
Frye stands and steps away. Killer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Killer looks winded! Frye keeps control of the position for the meantime. Killer is figuring out what he wants to do next. Frye is doing well to control the position and prevent Killer from advancing to side control. Frye regains full guard. Nicely done. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Frye is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Frye has his foot on Killer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Killer works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dennis Frye dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Killer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Frye's guard. Frye lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Frye scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Frye seems keen to control Killer's posture. Frye continues to stall. Killer wants to stand but Frye is controlling his posture from full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frye keeping moving, preventing Killer from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frye swivels though and keeps the full guard. Frye looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Killer is defending well. Frye quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Killer has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Frye celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
