Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amirhan Masaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wu Chu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Amirhan Masaev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wu Chu! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chu throws an off balance right hand
and Masaev finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Masaev takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Masaev steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chu. Chu misses with an uppercut. Masaev saw that one coming. Masaev half committed to a counter leg kick. Masaev avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Masaev half committed to a counter leg kick. Chu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Chu lands a left and a right that send Masaev crashing to the mat, dazed. Chu thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Masaev is rocked!
It looks like Amirhan Masaev has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chu is stalking Masaev. Masaev circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Chu, and it's lights out! Masaev really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wu Chu! During a confident post fight interview, Wu Chu thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
