Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Major (ranked 3519 p4p, 490 weight class) and Peter Easton (ranked 3982 p4p, 541 weight class). Jack Major has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Major! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Peter Easton! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Easton. Those never looked like landing. Major takes a jab right on the kisser.
Easton misses with a looping left. It looked like Major wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Major waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Easton. And Easton tries to counter it with a takedown but Major pushes his down on his head and steps out. Major looks to clinch and Easton counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Major! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Easton cracks Major with a big elbow. Easton scoring with punches and elbows. Easton landing a few strikes. Major is trying to improve his position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Easton misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Easton lands an elbow. Easton trying to control the position but Major is working away. Easton looks up at the clock and then as Major takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Easton smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Major is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Death Valley Training Facility, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Major is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Easton is looking to take a break and control but Major is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Major's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Major is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Major takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Major wants to control but Easton postures up. Major takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Easton wants to control but Major is keeping him busy. Major can't do much from the bottom here. Easton goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Major has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Easton but great work by Major. Easton is looking to reverse the position. Easton has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Easton is not content to let Major control the position. Major stands up and beckons Easton to his feet. Major scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Major smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Major throws a jab when Easton was well out of range. Easton lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Major darts in looking for a takedown but Easton gets double underhooks and turns Major into the cage. Major lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Easton looks to throw the jab but Major is out of range. It looked like Major was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Major scores with a nice right hand.
Easton jabs Major right on the nose. Major blinks but takes it well. Easton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Major. Easton looking to score a takedown here. Major is defending well but Easton drives through and ends up in Major's guard. Major trying to keep a closed guard but Easton is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Major looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Major trying to control the position here. Easton lands a couple of digs. Easton postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Major not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Major utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Easton stands up over Major, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. That's four minutes gone in the round. Easton gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Easton's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Easton stands up over Major, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Easton scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Easton working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Major's head. Easton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Major lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Easton controlling the position. Major has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Major controls from within his opponent's guard. Easton wants to sweep but no luck. Major trying to control the position from guard on top but Easton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Major misses with a straight right. Major drops his hands momentarily and Easton takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Easton avoids the head kick by Major.

Easton throws a shot from downtown. Major moves away and avoids it. Major tries to clinch up but Easton circles away and keeps his distance. Major misses with a takedown attempt - Easton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Easton slips under a jab from Major. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Easton fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Easton lands a nice shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Major walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Good shot there by Easton. This has been an exciting period of action! Major scores with a jab to the jaw. Easton avoids the head kick by Major.

That's one minute gone in the round. Major shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Major lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A combination from Easton does no damage. Jack Major seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Easton pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Major back to the cage. Easton follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Easton is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Major cracks Easton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Easton scores with the left hand. Major knows he should have avoided that one. Major scores with a nice head shot. A big left from Major misses. A slow jab from Easton misses its intended target. Major is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Major takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Easton clobbers Major with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Major throws a series of punches but Easton moves out of range. Easton swats away the attempt to clinch by Major. Easton circles away from the clinch attempt.
Danga de danga de dang - Easton scores with a four punch combination! Jack Major is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Major closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Easton misses with a two punch combination.

Easton tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Major looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Major pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Easton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Major on the side of the head. Easton looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Easton lands a nice short elbow. Easton takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Major trying to hold on to Easton's head to control him but Easton postures up.
Easton looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Major with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Peter Easton has got the better of the ground game so far.

He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Easton scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Major tries to roll over but Easton keeps him under control. Easton lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Easton winds up and cracks Major with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Major is looking to control Easton's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Major avoid being mounted? That's three minutes gone in the round. Easton looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Oh Major is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ground and pound from Easton. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Easton lands a nice short elbow. Easton scores with a big shot! Major's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Major! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Easton! In his post fight interview, Peter Easton started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
