Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Torsti Monivamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monivamma kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dropkick Murphys: I'm shipping up to Boston. Cote has chosen Slaughterhouse-The One as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote tries to clinch there but Monivamma circles away.

Monivamma drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cote manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Monivamma tries to reverse the position but Cote maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cote wants to stand but Monivamma is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Cote stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Monivamma circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cote fails in his attempt to clinch.
Monivamma closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Monivamma lands in his opponent's guard.
Monivamma with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Monivamma drops back looking for a leg! Cote is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cote manages to kick Monivamma off! Monivamma jumps back into Cote's guard.
Monivamma lands a couple of digs.
Monivamma postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Cote is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Monivamma, into his guard.
Monivamma working for submissions but it's allowed Cote to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Monivamma is refusing to be controlled, as Cote sits in half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Monivamma tries to roll over but Cote keeps him under control.
Cote throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Monivamma manages to get to full guard.
Monivamma is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Cote frees his head nicely. Oh but Monivamma has switched to an armbar! Cote is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
