Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Osh Street Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damen Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Damen Mayer! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Street Fighter paws at him with a jab and circles away. Street Fighter looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Damen Mayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mayer misses with a looping left. Mayer wants to clinch but Street Fighter slips to the side and Street Fighter counters with a slapping leg kick. Mayer misses with a head kick.
Street Fighter tried to counter with a leg kick but Mayer avoided it. Mayer throws a head kick that misses and Street Fighter counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mayer's knee momentarily. Mayer darts in trying to clinch and Street Fighter counters with a good low kick that Mayer was not able to check. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mayer doesn't succeed with the takedown and Street Fighter counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mayer's knee momentarily. Mayer's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Mayer continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Street Fighter trying to control the position but instead, Mayer has worked for underhooks and has pushed Street Fighter into the cage. Mayer tries to score a body lock takedown but Street Fighter shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Street Fighter is trying to break free. Street Fighter taking a breather. Mayer tightens his grip and picks Street Fighter up, before dumping him to the ground. Street Fighter manages to land in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Street Fighter is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Mayer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mayer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mayer forces his way into half guard. Mayer sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Street Fighter defending well though. Mayer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Street Fighter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mayer on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mayer thows a huge punch but Street Fighter dodges it nicely.

Street Fighter really is a fat lump. Mayer ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mayer no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Street Fighter preventing the sweep. Mayer has his foot on Street Fighter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Street Fighter works his way back into a safe position though. Mayer has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mayer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Street Fighter defends it easily. Mayer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Street Fighter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mayer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Street Fighter has managed to get both his arms back between Mayer's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Street Fighter tries to stand but Mayer is controlling from the bottom. Mayer is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Street Fighter rolls with it to try and escape but Mayer cranks on the arm and Street Fighter is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
