Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stefano Magaddino (ranked 4098 p4p, 544 weight class) and Midnight Rider (ranked 3246 p4p, 446 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rider jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Magaddino closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rider circles away.
Rider looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Magaddino counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Rider had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Magaddino defends it easily.
Magaddino tries to free his leg and advance position but Rider is retaining full guard.
Magaddino not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Rider can't keep his opponent in guard - Magaddino advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Rider throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Magaddino escapes and throws Rider's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Magaddino is taking a breather. Rider says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
