Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Brisebois (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brisebois is looking to clinch.
Lite tries to clinch up but Brisebois circles away and keeps his distance.

Brisebois feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lite is looking to control Brisebois's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lite avoid being mounted?

Brisebois is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lite wants to control but Brisebois is keeping busy.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Brisebois bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lite's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brisebois drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lite manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brisebois has Lite in his guard.
Lite won't allow Brisebois to sweep him here.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Brisebois is on top in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brisebois thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Brisebois drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Brisebois jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
