Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ali Oubaali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yvon Theriault (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Oubaali might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Belsunce Breakdown. Ali Oubaali has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theriault pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oubaali moves into the clinch successfully.
Oubaali lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Theriault.

I was talking to Oubaali's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Theriault jumps guard but Oubaali turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Oubaali creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Theriault is still on wobbly legs! Can Oubaali finish him?
Oubaali dips a shoulder and cracks Theriault with a mighty uppercut! Theriault falls back against the cage and Oubaali unloads with a barrage of strikes! Theriault is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Oubaali screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ali Oubaali!
