Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Denver Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blazing Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blazing Bob looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Denver Morgan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Blazing Bob!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan slips a jab from Bob.
Bob looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Morgan throws a leg kick

and Bob counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bob tries to pull guard but Morgan holds him up against the cage and eventually Bob drops back down to his feet.
Morgan throws a knee to the head but misses.

Morgan is pressed up against the cage. Bob has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Morgan down to the mat. Morgan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Morgan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Denver Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bob gets caught napping as Morgan dives in and scores a takedown. Bob manages to retain guard.
Morgan is standing up over Bob. Bob looks to escape but Morgan dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Morgan scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bob to see if he's OK.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Morgan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bob knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Morgan looks up at the clock and then as Bob takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Morgan smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Morgan lands an elbow.
Morgan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Morgan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Morgan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Morgan digs a good body shot into Bob's ribs.

Morgan looking to score a takedown here. Bob is defending well but Morgan drives through and ends up in Bob's guard.
Bob is looking to stand back up but Morgan counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bob.

Morgan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Morgan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bob for as long as he can get away with.

Morgan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bob on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Morgan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Morgan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bob with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Denver Morgan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Morgan drives through with a takedown into Bob's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Morgan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morgan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Morgan stays in close to Bob's body and controls the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

Morgan has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Morgan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bob can do to turn this around?

Well Morgan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
