Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Serial Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbert Whitakker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Serial Killer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robbert Whitakker! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whitakker misses with a double jab
letting Killer counter with a right hand. Killer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Whitakker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Killer drops down looking for a counter takedown but Whitakker sprawls and moves away. Whitakker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Whitakker stalks Killer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Killer's face. Killer staggers backwards, shaken. Whitakker tries to bum rush Killer with a series of wild strikes but Killer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Whitakker scores with a jab. Killer acknowledges it with a nod of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Whitakker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Whitakker wants it to stay on the feet. Whitakker drives through with a takedown into Killer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Killer throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Whitakker escapes and throws Killer's legs to the side, diving into side control! Whitakker is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Killer's shoulder. That is not cool. Killer is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Whitakker controlling from side mount. Killer is not content to let Whitakker control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killer is looking for a sweep. Killer is not content to let Whitakker control the position. Killer sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Whitakker wants to take a breather but Killer is having none of it. Killer is trying to get back to full guard. Killer is staying active underneath Whitakker, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Killer looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Whitakker controlling the pace. Killer actively working from the bottom here. Whitakker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Whitakker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Whitakker is keen to just control but Killer is a slippery customer. Killer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Whitakker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Killer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Whitakker with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Killer looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Whitakker slows the pace down in half guard. Killer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Whitakker pulls his head out easily. Still in half guard, Whitakker seems content to control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Whitakker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Whitakker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Killer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Killer looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Whitakker in particular looking to stall. Killer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Whitakker pulls his head out easily. Killer is breathing heavily. Whitakker performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Whitakker thuds his right hand into Killer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Killer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Whitakker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Killer loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Whitakker is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Killer presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Whitakker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robbert Whitakker dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Killer counters with a nice double leg into side control. Whitakker won't be happy with that. Killer goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Whitakker rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Killer's guard! Nice work there by Whitakker! Killer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Whitakker defends it easily. Whitakker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Whitakker trying to control but Killer is working from the bottom. Killer throws his legs up looking for a submission but Whitakker uses it to pass to side control.
Whitakker advances to full mount. Robbert Whitakker has got the better of the ground game so far.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Whitakker takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Killer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Whitakker lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Killer hang on? Whitakker looking to control but Killer is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Killer is looking to get to half guard. Killer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Whitakker controlling his opponent. Whitakker postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Killer looks a forlorn figure.

Robbert Whitakker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Killer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Whitakker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Killer moves away. Whitakker misses with a double jab

Killer dips to his left and cracks Whitakker with an uppercut! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Killer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Whitakker momentarily.
It looks like Robbert Whitakker has been cut. Killer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Killer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Whitakker is rocked! Killer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Whitakker, who protects the arm well. Whitakker is still in real trouble! Can Killer finish him? A big shot lands for Killer! That's hurt Whitakker! Will he recover? Killer fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Serial Killer! Serial Killer decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
