Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dennis Fischer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Daniel Gadar!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fischer on the side of the head.
Gadar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gadar throws a lazy uppercut
and Fischer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fischer takes one to the chin there.
Nice uppercut there from Gadar.
Fischer has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gizmo's Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Fischer throws a body punch but Gadar moves out of range.
Fischer lands a jab.
Gadar takes a swing at Fischer's ribcage but misses.
Fischer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gadar throws a lazy uppercut
letting Fischer counter with a right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gadar scores with a hook.
Gadar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
An attempted straight right counter from Fischer misses the target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fischer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fischer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gadar.
Gadar works the jab nicely.
Gadar moves away from the strike by Fischer.
Gadar's coach down at Play House was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gadar's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nice defenses there by Fischer.
Fischer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gadar throws a lazy uppercut
and Fischer counters with a left to the body.
Fischer connects with a quick right hand that sends Gadar tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dennis Fischer!
Dennis Fischer retains his light heavyweight title!
Dennis Fischer was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
