Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Horry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pablo Ramon Sanchez! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horry shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sanchez but Sanchez pushes him off and we're back to square one. Horry throws a hook but Sanchez blocks it. Horry clinches up against the cage. Sanchez has Horry pressed against the cage, preventing Horry from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Sanchez misses with a punch to the body.
Sanchez manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Sanchez lands with a short head shot on the inside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez is working Horry over against the cage. Sanchez can't find room to land a body shot as Horry controls the action.
Sanchez lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Horry blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Horry jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sanchez walks away with a smile on his face. Horry gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Sanchez feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Horrys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Horry has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Horry. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horry walks into a jab.
Horry is rocked! Sanchez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Oh Horry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sanchez scores with a jab to the jaw. Sanchez gets tackled into the cage by Horry. Horry maintains the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sanchez takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Horry blocks an uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez lands on the inside with an uppercut. Sanchez stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Sanchez misses with a shot to the kidneys.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sanchez tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Horry's elbow. Sanchez slows down the pace here.
Sanchez throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A nice left hand lands by Sanchez.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is keeping an eye on Sanchez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Sanchez continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. A right hand to the body from Sanchez.
Horry is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sanchez to keep the fight standing. Sanchez lands with a left to the head. Good body shot from Sanchez.
Horry tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sanchez just stands there and leans against the cage. We've been informed that Sanchez has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. A left hand lands to the body for Sanchez.
Horry is breathing heavily. Sanchez lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Horry backwards. Sanchez controlling the action here for a moment.
Sanchez tries to throw a body punch but Horry avoids it by throwing Sanchez back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice right hand lands inside from Sanchez. Sanchez cracks Horry with a nice body shot. Sanchez lands a right hand. A quick uppercut on the inside from Sanchez. The referee is keeping an eye on Sanchez - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Horry's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sanchez pressing his opponent against the cage. Sanchez lands a nice uppercut. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Sanchez takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pablo Ramon Sanchez dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sanchez cracks Horry with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Horry looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sanchez finish him?
Sanchez lands with a nice body punch. Horry pushes Sanchez up against the cage in a clinch. Horry tries to score a body lock takedown but Sanchez shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sanchez digs a right hand into Horry's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Horry's gas tank. Sanchez taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Sanchez scores with a nice short uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sanchez lands a nice uppercut. Sanchez lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Horry or not. Pablo Ramon Sanchez seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Sanchez lands a body punch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sanchez unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Horry! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Sanchez is unloading with more strikes now! Horry drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
