Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brook Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dollar Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brook Harris ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dollar Bill! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bill stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bill shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harris but Harris pushes him off and we're back to square one. Harris tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bill swivels and escapes. Bill changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Bill will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Harris has closed the distance and engaged Bill in a clinch.
Harris jumps into guard, dragging Bill to the mat.
Harris might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Harris has his feet on Bill's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Harris tries for a takedown but Bill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bill is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bill throws a right and a left that both miss. Harris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brook Harris . That's going to take a lot out of him. Bill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bill wants it to stay on the feet. Harris tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bill sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harris somewhat. Bill is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Harris with a body shot. Brook Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bill throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range. Harris misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bill steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Harris . Harris throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bill tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Harris is in Bill's guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bill can do anything to dispel that myth. Bill seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Bill preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Harris trying to control but Bill is working from the bottom. Harris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bill is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Harris looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Bill wants to stand and escape but Harris is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris trying to control but Bill is working from the bottom. Bill can't keep his opponent in guard - Harris advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bill is staying active underneath Harris , who seems content to just control the action from this position. Harris wants to work for an arm triangle but Bill is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Harris is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bill doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Harris . Harris works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris trying to control but Bill is having none of it. Harris looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Harris scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Bill?
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Harris putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Harris is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bill is surviving well by controlling Harris 's body position as best he can. Harris working the ground and pound effectively.
The cut above Dollar Bill's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dollar Bill's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Brook Harris !
