Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Irvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Altintop Palonesess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Altintop Palonesess will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Irvin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Altintop Palonesess! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Irvin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Irvin wants it to stay on the feet. Palonesess gets in close and instigates a clinch. Palonesess escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Palonesess keeps the fight on the outside. Irvin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Palonesess manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Irvin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Palonesess is fending him off so far but Irvin persists. Nope, Palonesess circles away and we're back to standing. Palonesess steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Irvin. Palonesess misses with a hook to the body
and Irvin counters with a two punch combo. Irvin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Irvin prevents Palonesess from improving his position. Palonesess is looking to control Irvin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Palonesess avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Palonesess wants to control but Irvin passes into side.
Irvin tries for a kimura but Palonesess is defending well. Irvin scoring with punches and elbows. Irvin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Irvin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Palonesess wants to control but Irvin postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palonesess is trying to improve his position. Irvin is trying to get an arm triangle but Palonesess is defending well. Irvin advances nicely into full mount. Irvin avoids the attempt from Palonesess to control. Palonesess really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Irvin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Irvin has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Palonesess is forced to tap!
