Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Prox Ler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Siopao Hopia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Prox Ler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Siopao Hopia! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hopia, pushing him back against the cage. Hopia prevents Ler from breaking the clinch. Ler pulls guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hopia lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hopia postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hopia distracts Ler with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hopia is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hopia is in close to Ler's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hopia seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hopia cracks Ler with a solid left hand. Hopia lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hopia is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ler wants to stand but Hopia is controlling the position. Hopia content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hopia distracts Ler with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hopia with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hopia postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hopia cracks Ler with a solid left hand. Hopia stands up over Ler, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hopia stays in close to Ler's body and controls the position. Hopia stands up over Ler, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hopia distracts Ler with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Hopia keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ler's head. Hopia content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Ler being controlled here, momentarily. Ler might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hopia drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hopia seems to have locked his on tight now - Ler screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hopia, as he picks up the win!
