Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sehanine Moonbow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sehanine Moonbow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Green!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moonbow darts in and clinches Green up against the cage.
Green is working for takedown but Moonbow is calmly controlling the position for now.
Moonbow tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Green's elbow.
Moonbow prevents a takedown attempt there.
Moonbow misses with a hook to the ribs.
Moonbow working aggressively here.
Green looking for a takedown.
Sehanine Moonbow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Green.

Moonbow gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Moonbow breaks from Green's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Green swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Green takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Moonbow tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Green tries to hold on but Moonbow postures up.
Green tries to reverse the position but Moonbow maintains control.
Moonbow lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Green hang on?
Green working to try and regain half guard.
Moonbow controlling the pace for now.
The referee warns Green that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sehanine Moonbow dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Moonbow wants to clinch.
Green throws a right hand that Moonbow ducks under and follows up with a left that Moonbow also avoids with ease.

Moonbow scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Moonbow works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Green manages to get back to half guard.
Moonbow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Green does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Moonbow looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Green with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Moonbow lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Moonbow blocks the strikes from Green.
Green keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Green slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Moonbow postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Moonbow stays in close to Green's body and controls the position.
Moonbow landing with the ground and pound.
Moonbow trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Green looking to hit a scissor sweep but Moonbow is one step ahead there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Moonbow wants to clinch.
Moonbow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Green is fending him off so far but Moonbow persists. Nope, Green circles away and we're back to standing.

Green changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moonbow looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Green working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Moonbow tries to buck Green off but Green is having none of it.
Moonbow is not content to let Green control the position.

Sehanine Moonbow overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Green is looking to take a break and control but Moonbow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Green rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moonbow moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Green keeps the fight on the outside.
Moonbow throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Green counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Green.
Moonbow wants a takedown but no success here.
Moonbow goes for a takedown attempt but Green pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

George Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Moonbow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Green swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Moonbow postures up in Green's guard and throws a big left but Green blocks it.
Moonbow looking to sit in guard and control but Green gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Moonbow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Green accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Green postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Green looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Moonbow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Moonbow on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Green wants to control but Moonbow is keeping him busy.

Green slips a nice elbow through Moonbow's hands, connecting with Moonbow's forehead.

Moonbow is looking for a sweep. Green is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Green is looking to control Moonbow's arms but Moonbow gets an underhook and turns him. Now Green has his back to the cage.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Green gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Moonbow.
Moonbow prevents the takedown attempt.
Green goes for a takedown attempt but Moonbow pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Moonbow throws a combination that misses
and Green makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Moonbow looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Green!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sehanine Moonbow.
I think Moonbow has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
