Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hue Jazz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh misses with a low kick.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Hue Jazz has been cut.

Jazz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Marsh manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jazz has Marsh in his guard.
Jazz has momentary wrist control but Marsh slips an elbow through the middle.

Marsh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Marsh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Marsh controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Marsh makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Marsh tries to stand but Jazz is controlling from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hue Jazz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
