Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitsuyo Kano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitsuyo Kano will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winchester shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kano's guard.
Winchester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Winchester throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kano works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Winchester is going olschool here, as he tries to force Kano to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kano shrugs it off.

Winchester has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Winchester has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Winchester quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Kano has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Winchester celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
