The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lourens lands a body shot.
Watanabe fails with the takedown
and Lourens counters with a nice low kick that buckles Watanabe's knee momentarily.
Lourens stuffs the takedown.
Watanabe doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lourens counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
