Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of The Island, John Boon!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by De La Romana or perhaps it was just good defense by Boon, which made it look bad.
De La Romana looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A combination from Boon does no damage.
De La Romana tries to counter with a takedown but Boon is quick to defend against it.
Boon slaps away a takedown attempt from De La Romana, before circling back to the center of the mat.
De La Romana fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boon avoids it really well and circles away.
Boon has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector De La Romana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
De La Romana takes one to the chin there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boon's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Boon duly obliges.
Boon tries to bum rush De La Romana with a series of wild strikes but De La Romana uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
De La Romana tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Boon defends well and De La Romana ends up having to push Boon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
De La Romana closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - De La Romana lands in his opponent's guard.
De La Romana throws a big elbow that misses.
De La Romana's corner is telling him to maintain position.
De La Romana works a leg free and moves into half guard.
De La Romana looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
De La Romana missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
De La Romana is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Boon!
Boon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De La Romana. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
De La Romana can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Boon is looking to escape.
Boon is trying to reverse the position but instead De La Romana has taken his back - oops!

De La Romana biding his time, looking for the opening.
De La Romana lands strikes to the head.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
De La Romana lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by De La Romana.
De La Romana working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Boon is doing well to defend. De La Romana seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Boon is forced to tap and this one is over!
