Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between AK Kalasznikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Lotbrook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, AK Kalasznikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ragnar Lotbrook! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kalasznikov shoots in but Lotbrook avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lotbrook shoots in for a double leg but Kalasznikov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kalasznikov fails with a takedown attempt. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lotbrook is defended easily by Kalasznikov. Lotbrook tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kalasznikov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lotbrook somewhat. AK Kalasznikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ragnar Lotbrook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kalasznikov looks to land a combination. Lotbrook sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalasznikov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lotbrook steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kalasznikov. Kalasznikov fails with a takedown attempt. Lotbrook throws a quick inside leg kick. Kalasznikov with a poor takedown and Lotbrook makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kalasznikov really felt that one! Kalasznikov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice sprawl there from Kalasznikov as Lotbrook shoots in. Lotbrook connects with a solid leg kick. Lotbrook moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kalasznikov.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lotbrook rushes Kalasznikov and presses him up against the cage. Lotbrook changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kalasznikov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Lotbrook goes for a double leg but Kalasznikov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kalasznikov continues to drive forward. Lotbrook lands a nice looking body kick. Kalasznikov dives in for a single leg takedown but Lotbrook sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kalasznikov is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kalasznikov tries for a takedown but Lotbrook circles away easily and Lotbrook counters by moving into the clinch. Kalasznikov goes for a takedown attempt but Lotbrook pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kalasznikov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lotbrook counters with a left and a right that stings Kalasznikov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lotbrook moves into the clinch. Nice elbow from Lotbrook. Lotbrook manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kalasznikov is trying to break free. Lotbrook drags the fight down to the ground.
Lotbrook looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kalasznikov showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Lotbrook wants to sweep but no luck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kalasznikov slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kalasznikov drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lotbrook manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kalasznikov has Lotbrook in his guard. Kalasznikov being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lotbrook tries to free his leg and advance position but Kalasznikov is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ragnar Lotbrook dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kalasznikov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lotbrook throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kalasznikov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Lotbrook wants to clinch up but Kalasznikov keeps it at a distance. Kalasznikov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lotbrook, pushing him back against the cage. Lotbrook drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kalasznikov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lotbrook breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lotbrook tries for a takedown but Kalasznikov circles away easily and Kalasznikov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kalasznikov is defended easily by Lotbrook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalasznikov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kalasznikov rushes Lotbrook and presses him up against the cage. Kalasznikov on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kalasznikov jumps guard and drags Lotbrook to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Lotbrook wants to stand and escape but instead Kalasznikov has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Kalasznikov preventing the sweep. Kalasznikov looking to sit in guard and control but Lotbrook gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kalasznikov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lotbrook pushes down on Kalasznikov's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Lotbrook throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Kalasznikov tries to hold on but Lotbrook pushes him away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lotbrook stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Lotbrook has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lotbrook pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. AK Kalasznikov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kalasznikov fails with the takedown and Lotbrook counters with a good low kick that Kalasznikov was not able to check. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kalasznikov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lotbrook swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lotbrook flicks out a counter leg kick but Kalasznikov steps away. Kalasznikov stuffs the takedown. AK Kalasznikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ragnar Lotbrook. Kalasznikov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lotbrook is fending him off so far but Kalasznikov persists. Nope, Lotbrook circles away and we're back to standing. Lotbrook was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Kalasznikov tries to clinch but Lotbrook is having none of it. The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lotbrook is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kalasznikov to keep the fight standing. Lotbrook is trying to drag Kalasznikov to the mat but Kalasznikov just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lotbrook breaks from the clinch.

A close second round but Ragnar Lotbrook will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Lotbrook fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kalasznikov throws a big counter combination but Lotbrook scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Lotbrook shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kalasznikov pinned against the cage. Kalasznikov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lotbrook shoots in and bounces Kalasznikov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Kalasznikov can't keep his opponent in guard - Lotbrook advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lotbrook throwing shots but Kalasznikov is blocking nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kalasznikov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kalasznikov is looking to control Lotbrook's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kalasznikov avoid being mounted? Kalasznikov regains full guard. Nicely done. Kalasznikov wants to sweep but no luck. Kalasznikov working a defensive guard here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lotbrook looking to pass the guard. Kalasznikov is looking to stand up but Lotbrook isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Kalasznikov tries to close the distance and clinch but Lotbrook swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kalasznikov throws the kick towards the body but Lotbrook avoids it. Kalasznikov leaves Lotbrook with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. An attempted straight right counter from Kalasznikov misses the target. AK Kalasznikov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ragnar Lotbrook. Lotbrook circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lotbrook changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kalasznikov tries to avoid it but Lotbrook manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kalasznikov to the ground. Kalasznikov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lotbrook takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kalasznikov shoots in for a takedown but Lotbrook shows good takedown defense. Kalasznikov throws a right and a left that Lotbrook avoids nicely. AK Kalasznikov is winning the standup battle so far. Lotbrook stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lotbrook wants it to stay on the feet. Lotbrook doesn't manage to clinch there - Kalasznikov circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kalasznikov scores with a jab. Kalasznikov is looking to clinch. Kalasznikov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kalasznikov has his takedown stuffed and Lotbrook moves into the clinch. Kalasznikov working hard to break the clinch. Lotbrook is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kalasznikov to keep the fight standing. Lotbrook struggles to land a body shot inside as Kalasznikov controls his hands.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lotbrook's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. AK Kalasznikov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ragnar Lotbrook is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kalasznikov tries for a takedown but Lotbrook sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ragnar Lotbrook. I've got Lotbrook winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
