Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Clack (ranked 1932 p4p, 248 weight class) and Sergio Aguilar (ranked 2748 p4p, 361 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 14 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Clack! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Aguilar! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Aguilar. Clack drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Clack won't allow Aguilar to sweep him here. Aguilar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Clack lands a couple of elbows. Aguilar wants to sweep but no luck. Clack controlling from the top position. Clack will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Clack stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aguilar swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clack postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Clack stopping the sweep attempt from Aguilar. Aguilar is trying to control the position but Clack postures up. Clack won't allow Aguilar to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clack stands and throws Aguilar's legs to the side, diving into side control. Aguilar tries to buck Clack off but Clack is having none of it. Aguilar sneaks back into half guard. Clack is trying to control. Aguilar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Clack looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clack trying to control the action but Aguilar is working from the bottom. Aguilar is looking for a sweep. Clack is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Aguilar is refusing to be controlled, as Clack sits in half guard. Aguilar is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Clack pulls his head out easily. The fighters are battling for position here. Aguilar manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Clack scoring with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clack wants to pass the guard but Aguilar is keeping the position. Aguilar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Aguilar trying to pass the guard but Clack defending well. Clack keeping hold of Aguilar's head, controlling as best he can. Clack tries to get to full guard but Aguilar has control of the leg. Aguilar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Clack tries to roll over but Aguilar keeps him under control. Aguilar has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Aguilar works his way to his opponent's back.
Aguilar is looking for the choke from the back position but Clack is controlling his hands well. Clack can't escape the position.
Aguilar working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Clack tries to break free.

Aguilar is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Clack defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Clack trying to control the position but Aguilar manages to sink in the hooks. Clack tries to roll but Aguilar sticks to his back.
Aguilar has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Clack has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Aguilar is persistently looking for the submission but Clack is defending it well.
Aguilar is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Clack is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Sergio Aguilar! Sergio Aguilar is the new middleweight champion! Sergio Aguilar decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
