Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aiden Ackermann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norris Norton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aiden Ackermann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Norris Norton!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Norton misses with a series of wild punches.
As Norton looks to move away, Ackermann throws a big counter combo but Norton just gets out of the way.
Ackermann ducks right into an uppercut from Norton.
A big left from Norton misses.
Norton lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ackermann staying out of range there.
Norton scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Norton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Norton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ackermann manages to avoid it.

Norton comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Ackermann misses with a takedown attempt - Norton sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Norton lands a left and a right that send Ackermann crashing to the mat, dazed. Norton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Ackermann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ackermann has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Norton uses from the top position.
Ackermann seems to have got his legs back now.
Norton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ackermann swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Norton passes Ackermann's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ackermann wants to improve his position but Norton is controlling well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oooooh!!! Norton has knocked Ackermann down with a huge combo! Norton steps away and waves a wobbly Ackermann back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ackermann has Norton pressed against the cage, preventing Norton from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Norton wants to get back to striking at distance but Ackermann won't allow it.
Ackermann lands a right hand.
Norton is trying to push Ackermann away but Ackermann has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Ackermann is working for takedown but Norton is calmly controlling the position for now.

Ackermann decides to pull guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Norton tries to free his leg and advance position but Ackermann is retaining full guard.
Norton wants to stand but Ackermann is controlling his posture from full guard.
Ackermann knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Norton on the ground.
Ackermann wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Norton is now in half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ackermann has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Norton is working away from the top position though.
Norton wants to free his trapped foot but Ackermann is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Norton moves out of range as Ackermann throws a body kick.

Norris Norton dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Norton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

A little feinted left hand from Ackermann on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Ackermann lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Norton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ackermann moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
It looked like Ackermann was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Norton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Norton throws a right hand that Ackermann ducks under and follows up with a left that Ackermann also avoids with ease.
Norton should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Norton has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ackermann is pushing Norton up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Norris Norton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ackermann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Norton pinned against the cage. Norton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ackermann looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Ackermann has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Norton is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Norton wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ackermann has him pressed against the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ackermann blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Norton tries to work over Ackermann's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Ackermann manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Norton passes Ackermann's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Norton is nestled in close to Ackermann, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Norton is trying to control the action in half guard but Ackermann is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Norton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ackermann knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Norton seems to be working for a kimura but Ackermann defends the submission attempt.

Norton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Norton tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ackermann knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Norton is taking a breather. Ackermann says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ackermann is looking for a sweep. Norton is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Norton thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Norton trying to control the action but Ackermann is working from the bottom.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Norris Norton comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Norton winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
