Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomatsu Harajuku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomatsu Harajuku has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Battle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tomatsu Harajuku!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battle tries to clinch but Harajuku moves out of range.
We've been informed that Harajuku has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Battle shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harajuku manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bruce Battle will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Harajuku has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Battle after a bit of a struggle.

Battle is looking to control Harajuku's arms but Harajuku gets an underhook and turns him. Now Battle has his back to the cage.
Battle digs a right hand into Harajuku's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Harajuku's gas tank.

Battle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Battle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Tomatsu Harajuku comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Harajuku has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
