Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Theodore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iggy Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve has chosen The Vamps-Wake Up as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Theodore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iggy Steve! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Theodore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Steve counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Steve. Steve jumps guard and drags Theodore to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Theodore throws a big elbow that misses. Steve keeping moving, preventing Theodore from controlling successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steve can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steve keeping full guard, as Theodore tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Theodore wants to control from the top but Steve keeps moving. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Theodore shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Steve holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Steve pulls guard successfully.
Theodore forces his way into half guard. Steve is not content to let Theodore control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steve has one foot on Theodore's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steve fails with a takedown attempt. Steve pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That kick from Theodore tenderised Steve's leg. Steve is trying to keep his angry face on. Steve shoots for a takedown but Theodore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Theodore tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Steve manages to circle out of the way. Steve misses with a two punch combination.

and Steve holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steve misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Theodore.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roger Theodore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Steve is working for takedown but Theodore is calmly controlling the position for now. Theodore wants to break the clinch but can't.

Theodore tries to clinch but Steve is having none of it. Theodore is looking to slow Steve down with leg kicks. No joy there for Theodore, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Steve throws a series of punches but Theodore avoids them all with ease. Theodore shoots in but Steve avoids the takedown attempt easily. Theodore tries to close the distance and clinch up but Steve swats him away and circles back towards the center. Theodore misses with a head kick.
Theodore sets himself, and Steve steps forward looking for the clinch! Theodore avoids it this time. Steve has taken the fight to the clinch.
Steve just leaning against Theodore, taking a breather. Steve wants a takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steve's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Theodore misses with a knee strike.
Steve lands with a short head shot on the inside. Steve escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Theodore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steve paws at him with a jab and circles away. Theodore fails in his attempt to clinch. Steve throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Steve displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Theodore. Steve tries to counter by closing the distance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. No luck for Steve with that takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iggy Steve dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Theodore with a poor takedown and Steve counters by clinching up. Theodore is looking to break free of the clinch but Steve has double underhooks. Steve can't get the takedown.
Steve pulls guard. Theodore stands up from Steve's guard - Theodore perhaps looking for a knockout. Steve wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Steve has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Theodore shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steve pinned against the cage. Steve gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Theodore misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Theodore lands with an uppercut that bounces Steve off the cage and back into range. Steve gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Steve has Theodore pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Theodore manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Steve pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Theodore doesn't manage to clinch there - Steve circles away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steve shoots in for a takedown but Theodore shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Theodore shoots in for a double leg but Steve sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Theodore is looking to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Theodore goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Steve darts in and clinches Theodore up against the cage. Theodore stops a takedown attempt from Steve.

Theodore has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Steve drags the fight down to the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Theodore wants to stand but Steve is controlling his posture from full guard. Theodore postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Theodore throwing strikes from guard but Steve blocks nicely. Steve keeping moving, preventing Theodore from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iggy Steve showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Steve stuffs the takedown. Steve is looking for the big counter here. Steve is looking to land body kicks. And Theodore counters with a quick kick to the body but Steve blocks it. Theodore fails in his attempt to clinch. A little jabbing left from Steve on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Iggy Steve seems to be getting the better of the standup. Steve forces Theodore back against the cage and clinches. Steve on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Theodore wants to pass the guard but Steve is keeping the position. Steve keeping moving, preventing Theodore from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Theodore forces his way into half guard. Steve blocking the ground and pound attempt from Theodore. Theodore wants to pass the guard but Steve is defending well. Theodore throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Theodore passes to full mount! Theodore is working for a guillotine from mount but Steve frees his head quite easily.
Steve is squirming around, avoiding Theodore's attempts to control the action. Iggy Steve has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Theodore throwing strikes here but Steve is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Theodore misses with a head shot. Theodore trying to control but he's not successful this time. Iggy Steve is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Steve's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Theodore looking for a guillotine from mount but Steve is having none of it. Steve is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Theodore looking to control but Steve is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Theodore stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Roger Theodore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Theodore will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And that's the end of the fight! Roger Theodore showed his dominance in that final round. I think Steve has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
