Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sara McSlamm (ranked 5494 p4p, 590 weight class) and Darrow Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sara McSlamm had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Darrow Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
47 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sara McSlamm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Darrow Jackson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McSlamm manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jackson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. McSlamm thows a left - swing and a miss! Jackson tries to clinch up and McSlamm counters with a nice double leg into half guard. McSlamm not landing any meaningful shots this time. McSlamm moves nicely into side control. Jackson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McSlamm has just dragged him back down to the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. McSlamm has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jackson defending against the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson avoids any damage from the ground and pound of McSlamm. McSlamm in side control, just content to control the action for now. McSlamm trying to control the action but Jackson is working from the bottom. McSlamm working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Jackson pushes McSlamm away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McSlamm gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Jackson takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McSlamm. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. McSlamm landing strikes. Jackson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but McSlamm has just dragged him back down to the mat. McSlamm looks up at the clock and then as Jackson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, McSlamm smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jackson is looking to get back to his feet here but McSlamm is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jackson's back. Jackson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McSlamm scores with punches to the body. McSlamm punishes Jackson with strikes from the back mount. McSlamm scores with punches from the back.
McSlamm is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Jackson. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McSlamm lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Jackson is trying to stand back up. McSlamm lands strikes to the head. Jackson wants to get back to his feet. McSlamm is working the ground and pound. Can Jackson escape? McSlamm slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McSlamm has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Jackson. McSlamm is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Jackson. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. McSlamm is looking to finish with some ground and pound! McSlamm really is a fat lump. McSlamm keeps control of the position easily here as Jackson tries to buck him off.
Jackson is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Jackson is taking damage to the body and head. McSlamm lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by McSlamm.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson covering up well under a barage of strikes. Can Jackson hold on?! McSlamm is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Jackson is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sara McSlamm dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A big left from Jackson misses. Jackson lands the left hand. Jackson connects with a body shot that sends McSlamm's belly button to the back. Jackson misses with a left hand and McSlamm cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jackson swinging wildly here.
McSlamm drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jackson sprawls and moves away. Jackson misses with a body shot.
McSlamm avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through McSlamm's defenses. Jackson holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Jackson lands an elbow inside. Jackson lands an elbow that stopped McSlamm in his tracks for a moment. Jackson with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Nice elbow from Jackson. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McSlamm takes an elbow to the forehead.

McSlamm is rocked! McSlamm takes an elbow to the temple. Oh McSlamm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jackson takes control of his opponent's neck and spins him into the cage. McSlamm is off balance and as he stumbles, Jackson throws a jumping knee that lands flush on McSlamm's chin, knocking him out cold! Oh my word - what a knockout! Definitely one for his highlight reel! If he ever decides to rob a bank and run off to Morocco, that moment is defintely worthy of a tacky mural!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Darrow Jackson! Our winner, Darrow Jackson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. Sara McSlamm spoke after the fight, saying 'I made a mental error. when your flipping a burger thats not a big deal. you dont go to the hospital after forgetting to put the pickle on it... I gotta heal up but ill be back.'.
