The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bongiorno gets a double leg takedown into Oyama's guard.

Oyama is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Bongiorno drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bongiorno jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bongiorno works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Bongiorno trying to pass the guard but Oyama defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bongiorno frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Oyama tries to lock up and control but Bongiorno gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Oyama is trying to escape the mount but Bongiorno keeps good control and instead manages to take Oyama's back.
Oyama won't enjoy being in this position. Bongiorno looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Oyama is tapping - it's over boys! Bongiorno picks up the submission victory!
