Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lami Solo (ranked 6022 p4p, 635 weight class) and Miller Light (ranked 22423 p4p, 850 weight class). Miller Light is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Light shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Solo counters with a nice right hand that sends Light toppling to the canvas! Light scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Solo finish him?!

It looks like Miller Light has been cut.

Solo instigates a clinch.
Light tries for a takedown but Solo manages to get underhooks.
Light has Solo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Solo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lami Solo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miller Light.

Our sources have told us that Solo has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Solo is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Light drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Solo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Light or not.

Light tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Solo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Solo clinches up with Light and pushes him back against the cage.

Solo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Light is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
