Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Agamir Olavi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Freds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fred Freds has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Agamir Olavi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fred Freds! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olavi pushes Freds up against the cage in a clinch. Olavi unloads a knee to the mid-section. Freds lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Olavi slows down the pace here.
Olavi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Freds uses from the top position. Olavi has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Freds off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Freds gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Olavi counters with a head kick that drops Freds to the mat! Freds scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Olavi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Freds shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Olavi counters with a shoot takedown. Freds fights it but they end up in guard. Olavi working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Freds's head. Olavi showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Olavi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Freds for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olavi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Olavi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Freds is keeping the position for now. Olavi decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Freds, up you get! Freds shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Olavi but Olavi pushes him off and we're back to square one. It looked like Olavi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Agamir Olavi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fred Freds. Olavi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Freds's half guard. Olavi performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olavi is working for a kimura but Freds is defending it quite comfortably.
Olavi controlling the action here. Freds tries to get to full guard but Olavi has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olavi not doing much here.
Olavi working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Olavi thows a huge punch but Freds dodges it nicely.
Freds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Olavi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Freds taking some punishment here, with Olavi in his half guard. Olavi is taking a breather. Freds says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Olavi lands with a punch from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agamir Olavi dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Olavi misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Freds.
Olavi rushes Freds and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Olavi pulls guard successfully.
Olavi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Freds manages to get himself to full guard.
Olavi working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Freds's head. Olavi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Olavi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olavi throws a big right hand that misses. Olavi advances position into side control! Olavi taking a breather here. Olavi working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Olavi decides to stand back up. Olavi steps back and let's Freds get back to his feet. Olavi keeps Freds at a distance using the push kick. Freds shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Olavi sprawls well. Olavi wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Freds gets slowly back to his feet. Olavi moves into the clinch successfully.
Freds misses with a knee to the head. Olavi lands a nice knee to the body. Olavi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Freds fails with the takedown. Freds tries to sprawl but Olavi drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olavi controlling the pace. Olavi is working for a submission of some sort.
Olavi is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Olavi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Freds to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Freds shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee warns Freds that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Olavi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Freds can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Olavi controlling from mount. Olavi putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Olavi stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Freds wants to clinch and Olavi counters with a single leg into guard. Freds didn't expect that. Freds looking to control but Olavi passes into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agamir Olavi dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Freds is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Olavi appears to be looking for a big counter. Olavi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Freds manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Freds is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Olavi dives into side control.
Olavi has hold of Freds's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Freds tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Olavi cranks the arm and Freds screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Freds, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Agamir Olavi!
